  If I was basing it off food alone would give it 2 stars but it is a nice place, good atmosphere and friendly. A little pricey for the quality of food. Best comparison I could give would be to a typical chain resteraunt like Kelsey's, Jack Astor's etc, but food is slightly worse and slightly more expensive.

  Unfortunately The Bit has taken a turn for the worse. We used to be regulars when it first opened, great food, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. As time went on quality of food and service took a nose dive. So we decided to take a break from dining at the bit for a while and hope things changed. Recently gave them another chance and was once again disappointed. Walking into one of the only restaurants in a small town on a Saturday at dinner rush and most of the tables being empty is not a good sign... Same menu as always with slightly higher than average pricing. Ordered an appetizer to start with a burger as a main, both items arive at the same time with the poor waitress having to apologize for the kitchens mistake when the owner is always present in the restaraunt. You think the owner would be overseeing the quality and timing of food coming out of the kitchen. Strong lack of table condiments ,quality and portions of appetizers are skimpy. All of these things tell me that The Bit is not doing so hot financially. Too bad, they have so much potential. Once again I will be avoiding The Bit and do not recommend It, you will be disappointed/embarrassed.

  I was there and live quite close . I am relatively easy to please as far as burgers and such but it was way too garlicky and was super pricey . The menu stated chips and figured I was getting fries with the Pony burger but nope got potato chips for 14 bucks and had nothing to drink yet. Then the band came on , way too loud and that was it for us . I would avoid the spot and eat better elsewhere . The place is just expensive with crappy food . This poor recommendation from me is unusual as I would prefer to commend not condemn but it's not possible here . Avoid it and enjoy another spot , this ain't the spot .

  Awesome place that is tucked away in Rockwood! Staff are awesome and very friendly!!! The patio was a great addition.

  Amazingly nice staff, great looking waitresses. Genuine Rockwood atmosphere. Great food to keep coming back for. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
